SAVIOR OF THE CURSED AND THE DAMNED — Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) focus a new project that will bring them closer to destroying Klaus (Joseph Morgan), and they quickly bring Elena (Nina Dobrev), Caroline (Candice Accola) and Matt (Zach Roerig) in on the plan. We are going to meet Elena’s parents! Well, more specifically, her adoptive parents (and Jeremy’s birth parents): Grayson and Miranda Gilbert. And we can only assume it is for a flashback. As you may recall, Elena’s real father, John (David Anders), took his girlfriend Isobel to brother Grayson (a doctor) to help her deliver a baby, which was Elena, and whom Miranda and Grayson promptly adopted. So far we’ve only seen them in photos but TVDis currently casting actors who are willing to take scuba lessons for an underwater scene. Now, you remember what ghastly thing happened underwater to Elena and her parents, right? And how Stefan saved Elena’s life? Sure sounds like the genesis of some kind of Stefan and Elena rekindling if you ask us! Or, you know, they’re going to flash back to the Gilbert family practicing their synchronized-swim act, which would be even more awesome. We shall see.

Bisher haben wir sie immer nur auf Fotos gesehen, aber im Moment werden für TVD Schauspieler gecastet, die dazu bereit sind, Unterrichtsstunden in der Benutzung eines Atemgeräts für eine Unterwasser-Szene über sich ergehen zu lassen. Also, ihr erinnert euch daran, welches grauenhaftes Ereignis unter Wasser Elena und ihren Eltern passiert ist, richtig? Und wie Stefan Elena’s Leben rettete? Klingt definitiv nach einer Art Entstehung eines neuen Auflebens von Stefan und Elena, wenn ihr uns fragt! Oder sie zeigen uns, wie die Gilberts damals ihre Vorführung im Synchron-Schwimmen geübt haben, was eigentlich noch genialer wäre. Wir werden sehen.

Correct name Paweł Wasilewski, well known as Paul Wesley. The role of handsome vampire Stefan brought him thausands of fans in all over the world even in small polish town and villages. In this interview he talks about his connection with Poland with Kinga Rusin.

K: Paweł
P: Yes
K: Paweł you can’t fool me, because I found your Polish interview on YT and I know you speak Polish very well. 
P: Yes, when I was in Poland for about two weeks I remember everything, but now I’ m in America for several months and I forgot it.  I must talk Polish that’s when I’m remembering everything.
K; But you don’t have an accent. You speak Polish great.
P: haha.. my mother’ll tell.. umm … (he want to say in Polish that his mother will disagree)
K: she will argue with this… ( argue in Polish is hard word to say)
P: I don’t know what that mean but propably yes.. 
K: but wait, we must start from the beginning.. you were born in the USA
P: Yes… my older sister was born in Poland and my father went to US during highschool and my mum and dad knew each other in school. This was that kind of highschool love. My mum came out right after college and that’s when I was born. Every summer, as kids we were shipped away …  parent send us to grandparents and home we were speaking Polish. It was first language I knew and Polish culture was always a huge part of who I am.
K: It seems to me that you have no connection in film industry or anything like this so..
P: Right.
K: Where this idea of beginning an actor came from?
P: When I was in elementary school and we have to participate in this theater classes and you know I hated it and I think oh god it’s classic again and one day I start to like this. I was lucky because I lived 25 minutes from Mannhattan, so I just go to the train to the city and I started doing acting workshops. And I never decided that this could be my proffesion I start getting jobs and then I thing this is working out.
K: You started from like soaps and episodes, this set you.
P: Yes, I started doing some soap operas and it was great. Pictures everyday and working on camera, everyday saying all this lines…
K: Hard job.
P: It’s very hard job… one script on one day, it was very good training for me and then I started to get small roles and I play in some tv pilotes but none of them was succesed. Then vampires came out…

K: How this vampires came to you?
P: I read the script and um…
K: There was auditions, yes?
P: Absolutely, there was many, actually I had to fight for this role. It was the hardest job gained in my life 
K: It’s always dangerous for actor who became famous for only one role to move forward.
P: Yes, but I try to take on new challenges. It’s so easy to stuck on the show for 6 years or whatever and fall into a routine. I try to develop my career.
K: Do you still going to auditions??
P: Oh yeah absolutely.

K: You became very popular and when you got go Poland, people recognize you?
P: You know, you will be suprised. More than here.
K: Really.??
P: It’s amazing. It’a always very funny.  I was staying somewhere you know in the middle of nowhere… like 40 km from Poznan with my grandparents and my wife and there is a small little shop. I was buying something and the girl who was there look very confused. Why Stefan is standing in this tiny little place, where are two people and I was trying to buy some little thing…
K: and speaking polish…
P: Yep, I was saying Could I have… and she was so confused, she didin’t understad why this character that she watches every week, speaking Polish in her little village where she lives.  She probably was thinking that she has some hallucinations. She asked me something in English and I answer her in Polish and I’ve done this like it was very normal. You know what I’m saying… She was just blowed away.
K: I would like to talk to her… she probably was hospitalized
P: Like she was insane and then I just ran away, I’ve got in my car and I drove away.
K: I want to ask you about this ring, it’s the wedding ring??
P: Yes, and this is a ring my grandfather gave me. I don’t know what it is, it can be a symbol for men and women and it’s from like Mongolia. I wear it ever since he gave it to me.
K: Am I right that in June or July you going to turn thirty ??
P: Yes
K: Is it possible ??
P: Don’t tell the girls, 
K: You look like a twenty.
P: I should be always stick like eighteen old guy like a vampire 
K: Is it going to change anything, you’re thinking about it ??
P: I think about that somehow I could settle down finally.
K: Like what family chidren??
P: No I … it’s to quick to me.

P: Actually I will be there this summer. Yeah you know my friend Jan Kaczmarek I will be opening his festiwal. So I will be there, meet with my grandparent, meet with Jan. Words…

P: You will teach me

Kinga: Here in the studio the biggest fans of Paul Wesley. Miss Halina and Mister Slawomir Smoleński, grandparents Paul with whom we have just seen the interview. I immediately wanted to thank because here we agreed with Mr. Slawomir
